About
About Øra
Welcome to Øra Wellness Studio.
At Øra, we believe that movement should meet you where you are. Every day your mind, body and energy ask for something different, so our classes are designed to help you choose the movement that's right for you on that day.
Whether you're looking to build strength, improve alignment, reconnect with your body or simply take an hour for yourself, you'll find a welcoming space where movement feels purposeful, supportive and enjoyable.
No matter your age, experience or fitness level, our goal is simple: for you to leave every class feeling better than when you arrived.

Founder
Meet Ash
Hi, I'm Ash, founder of Øra Wellness Studio.
For me, movement has never been about chasing perfection or punishing my body. It's always been about how I feel.
Some days I need to be challenged. Other days I need to slow down, reconnect and simply move in a way that feels good. I realised that while our energy constantly changes, many fitness spaces expect us to show up exactly the same every time.
That's why I created Øra.
I wanted to build a space where movement meets you where you are. A place where you can feel strong one day, restorative the next, and know that both are equally valuable.
Whether you're stepping onto a reformer for the very first time, returning after injury, preparing for motherhood, chasing a personal best or simply taking an hour for yourself, my hope is that you leave every class feeling better than when you arrived.
Because movement shouldn't just change your body, it should change the way you feel.
I've dedicated myself to continually learning so I can provide classes that are safe, evidence-based and tailored to the individual. My training includes STOTT Pilates, APPI Clinical Pilates, advanced mat and reformer education, and comprehensive apparatus training across the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector. I continue to invest in ongoing professional development so every class reflects the latest knowledge in movement, rehabilitation and performance.
Thank you for trusting me to be part of your movement journey.
I can't wait to welcome you to Øra.
Your First Visit
If it's your first time at Øra, we recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your class. This gives us time to welcome you, show you around the studio and answer any questions before we begin.
If you have any injuries, medical conditions or you're pregnant, please let your instructor know before class so we can tailor your experience where appropriate.
What to Bring
- • Comfortable activewear you can move freely in.
- • Grip socks (available to purchase in the studio if needed).
- • A water bottle.
- • An open mind — we'll take care of the rest.
What to Expect
From the moment you walk through our doors, we want you to feel at ease.
Our small class sizes allow for individual attention, expert guidance and a personalised experience, whether it's your first class or your hundredth.
Expect thoughtful instruction, quality movement and an encouraging environment where you're free to move at your own pace.
There is no pressure to be perfect. Every body is different, and every day is different. We simply encourage you to listen to your body and enjoy the process.

Our philosophy
The Øra Philosophy

Every day, your mind, body and energy ask for something different.
Some days you feel strong, motivated and ready to be challenged. Other days, your body asks you to slow down, recover or simply reconnect. No two days are ever the same, so why should your movement be?
The word aura describes the unique energy that surrounds each of us. It isn't fixed. It shifts with our emotions, experiences, health and the season of life we're in.
Øra was created around that idea.
Instead of expecting every person to fit into one style of movement, we believe movement should meet you where you are. That's why our classes are organised around different energies rather than a one-size-fits-all approach to fitness.
Whether you're seeking strength, alignment, creativity or personalised support, there's an Øra to match how you feel today.
Because movement isn't just about changing your body. It's about changing the way you feel.
